A fantastic way to enjoy corn in the cold months.

This meal will warm you right up with a variety of spices. It’s nourishing and filling way to feed you and your friends after a day of skating outdoors in the cold.

Instructions:

Boil 12 cups of water in a large pot. Add the 8 corn and boil for 3-5 minutes more or until the corn is tender. In the meantime, melt the butter in a small pan. Mix in the spices and cook for one minute while stirring occasionally.

Next, stir together the cornstarch and broth and gradually add it into the butter mixture. Boil the new mixture. Cook it while stirring for 1 to 2 minutes or until it gains a slightly thicker consistency. Drain the corn and add the seasoned butter mixture.


  • 8 ears sweet corn
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1⁄4 teaspoon chilli powder
  • 1⁄4 teaspoon pepper, coarsely ground
  • 1⁄8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1⁄8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1⁄4 cup chicken broth or 1⁄4 cup vegetable broth
